It sounds like you have built several boats and it has worked fine for you. Again, I'm only on my second and the first hasn't seen the water yet. Just was passing on what the manuals said. I to had read that it is more brittle but thought I better follow the distructions. I wonder what I will post on this subject 3 to 5 years from now with a few more boats under my belt?
