In Response To: its all optional, all the instructions (John)
John, I'm tinkering with the mixes and the designs as well. A little cab-o with the wood flour and vice-versa. On my CH17 I have changed the fore deck radius to 18" from 16" and the aft to 42" from 24". Went for flush hatches etc... When I started this whole process I asked CLC how long these boats would take me to build with 25 years of woodworking experience. When they found out what I do for a living their response was " At least twice as long." That was an understatement! Good luck with your 4th boat.
Apology to the thread for the rambling. Back to Q&A. John
