My kayak web site is exposed in this forum, and Nick's web ring. Other than that, it is unknown (to my knowledge) anywhere else. Some interesting statistics for August are as follows:

Total Hits (all activity): 44,075

Files Sent (primarily pictures, of course): 38,265

Pageviews (number of pages viewed): 2,736

Sessions (number of times someone came aboard): 2,052

Since my "paddle building page" came on line in February, I've had 323,025 hits on my site. Since February, I've had no less that 30,000 hits in a month, and most months are over 40,000. In the first 11 days in September (last reporting period on my UNIX server) I've had 13,167 hits.

Now I ask you: My commercial web site has never had anywhere NEAR this number of hits. The kayak web site has to have some commercial value. What should I advertise to you, my gentle readers? T-shirts? Miniature kayaks in ceramic? Adult kayak novelties? Varnishing rags? Geez, that many hits should provide SOME sort of revenue stream, don't you agree . . . ? ;-)
