My friend is currently building an 18' Guillemot that we modified on the computer. We just took the forms for a 17' and modified the scale by 18/17 when printing. That way there was no conversions to deal with. Then the forms spacing was then evenly spread apart to make it 18' long.
I helped him do the Vaclav hatch lips today. It's looking like a pretty nice kayak.
Shawn Baker also built one very similar. It's a very sporty kayak and fun to paddle. Check out the link to his page on the webring.

: Has anyone created an offset table for the "L" version? I
: understand it is 6% larger and I can handle the transformation of the x,y
: data pairs but what about the length? Is the form spacing stretched to end
: up at 18"? Any and all assistance will be appreciated as I am a
: newbie but would like to start as soon as it cools off here in Phoenix. I
: would also like to be done glassing before it hits 110 next year.
