I would like to thank those kayakers, canoeists, and builders who attended the Fourth Annual Newfound Rendezvous. We were excited about the amount of people who attended, the quality of the boats that were displayed, the interaction with the designers and the interest that people had in everything that was going on.

For those of you who like numbers, we think there were more than 125 boats displayed on Saturday and more than 300 people were floating (no pun intended) around Geneva Point. More important than the numbers was the quality of the boats and the quality of the people. Those who brought boats were willing to share information on building and those who want to build were there to absorb.

A special thanks goes to Nick Schade, Rob Macks, Eric Schade, Jay Babina, Peter Hunt, and Jim Luton. These designers were available for three days to answer questions and make their boats available for paddle (and sail) testing.

We hope to have pictures posted (really!) on our website soon. I will post a message here when that happens.

Again, thank you all for a great weekend. Now I'm going to rest for a while.
