The plans are at http://www.bearmountainboats.com/intro.asp and also newfound.com has them. His book is "Canoe Craft" which is very good. They advertise 50 lbs which I think I could make, but you would have to watch any extras. I also put three coats of epoxy on the inside and I now know only one would be better. I used 6oz glass inside and out.
