Hi Brian, at the Port Townsend Sea Kayak symposium there were some neat boats made by Blazing Aspens (?) Kayaks, 3mm., light and strong. I remember some 4oz S-glass that had a 18x28 or some such warp/weave ratio. That glass with others would make a nice strong layup with 3mm.
