well, sarasota's not exactly close and it's not exactly a tern, but i finished a coho earlier this year and it's one sweet boat. the parts were so well cut that i was able to build it in my living room on a couple of horses over the carpet. the only sawdust was from a couple hundred 1/16 holes. i 'glassed it inside over some plastic and sanded it outside. anyone with two hands and one eye could build this thing. this was my first attempt and i was a little sloppy on the epoxy so i have some ugly runs to sand out before i varnish. if you want to come down and try her out, you're welcome. just let us set up a mutually advantagous time/date. or if you want any other info on my building experience just send me an email. imho, unless storage is a problem, why not get the bigger boat? the price and weight aren't much different..... i also have a couple pics if you want me send em, just let me know. rick
