Hi Gary, I used both a strip and a ply bulkhead in my Pygmy. I filleted and taped the glassed panels in place. I think they were probably about the same weigh as the foam with the addition fillets and tape on both sides. In my previous list, I failed to mention thigh hooks and hip braces. I think 5# is probably the average outfitting add on weight, some builders add more weight; some less. larry C.
