Hey, thanks!

Your suggestion of wood flour and glue worked great! It sanded nicely, and the gaps are nearly invisible. Hopefully after glassing they will be impossible to spot, except to the builder...but I won't tell anyone.

I also took Kent's advice, and filled some of the bigger gaps with wood slivers, and kind of smeared them with glue. After sanding, not bad!
