Don is right, there is lots of ways to save money, a freind recently showed me the plans he got from Nick for a night Heron. They are very much worth the money. Another place to save a few bucks on glass is Hamiltom Marine. They just sent me a sale catalog yesterday. 50" 5.5oz cloth for $2.99 a yard, last time I checked thats cheaper than Raka. I've built two boats with it and it's good stuff. They also have discount prices for quantities over 20 yards. The three boats I have built have cost about $500 to $600. The thing I have found to be the killer is all the goodies that are required to be properly outfitted.
