I used to sell epoxy for about 12 years and during that time only once we met a case when the hardener was at fault. All the other times it was mixing ratio. I have personally used pumps quite often but with scales, pumps act as stoppers on the canisters which is important with most amine hardeners thay do not like moisture, epoxy resins are usually not quite as choosy but it does take in moisture slowly. I hyave found the ideal temperature to be between 18 and 21 C.
