Everyone:

You know the saying: 5 out of 4 people have trouble with fractions...

That includes me. Of course, all of the suggestions were helpful, I had the mix ratio off by a factor of at least 4. It's too embarrassing to admit, but I was pumping the epoxy pump four times, and the hardener pump once...luckily I was just testing it on scrap. My kayak will recover, my pride never will. I guess I was making a 16:1 mixture, which would probably harden sometime around the spring of 2043.
