I agree with Jay, Hit the yellow pages for lumber yards in your area. Also try the wholesale suppliers, many will sell retail for speciality woods like redwood. All the local lumber yards draw from the wholesale suppliers. My local lumber yards can order redwood and have it in a few days and like Jay mentioned, it is mostly clear and available in long lengths so what you order will most likely be good.
