I'm very pleased with the plans, manual and online support. His online manual contains a lot of info and the manual which comes with the plan set adds to the instructions and pictures. I've done a fair amount of woodworking in the past and decided to make my life difficult and go both staple-less and not using cove and bead. It's been an adventure. The stern was quite pinched and I developed some stair stepping which I eventually worked around. I got some good suggestions off this bbs and also very fast suggestions from Vaclav in response to my questions on solving the problem. One thing that looks really interesting is he sells some unusually milled cove and bead strips which look like they might really help getting around some of the joint problems inherent with that kind of strip, i.e. sanding the joints to achieve a fair curve. If you use cove and bead you should look at his supplies.

I haven't paddled any of his designs but the specs look good and boat is very attractive with nice fine lines. I'll borrow a camera and post a couple of pics. I'm currently smoothing the interiors and will probably cut the cockpit tomorrow. The racks stay on the car until I'm in the water, hopefully before the lake freezes.
