Hi, Jim -

I never got a box for my Newfound kit, opting instead to drive up there and pick it up on a trailer instead. A nice ride. I did build a strongback based on the Newfound box beam design, which is the same as the shipping box. There should be a drawing included with your kit on how to set up the box as a box beam strongback. Mine is on its fourth boat, and so far I have no complaint what so ever with it. Keep it solid to the floor, make sure it is level at least across its width in several places, and go with it. The picture below shows a refurbed top surface. The original was pretty well marked up with pencil lines and epoxy slobber. - John
