We seem to be sharing the same vibe on construction. I'm planning on using spacers also so I can pull the boat off the forms and see how I fit. If I was building for a standard height person I'd probably follow Putz's way, but being 6'5", I've got to check for clearance prior to the deck beams.

I'll be ready for canvas by the end of my weekend. Sure is nice having you a couple days ahead of me.
