Tested my electric pump out today and the results were very favourable.

I filled the cockpit up level with the top of the coaming with water and then timed the pumpout. 4 minutes, 10 seconds. The pump drains all the water except about a quart spread over the bottom of the cockpit.

Now in a real life situation, the water in the cockpit would never be level with the top of the coaming and my body would displace much of the water so pumpouts should be closer to 2 minutes than to 4.

I will do a real life wet exit test next weekend.
