I have a scratch in my hull that goes through varnish and epoxy and into the glass(just scoring the glass through the epoxy layer). It shows up as a jagged white line in the finish.
I thought it might go away when a new varnish finish was put on but that has not happened.

When I refinish the boat again next time is there any way to get this scratch to vanish short of sanding the glass down to wood and patching?
