I didn't measure it, but it looked about the same as my Tern 17. I'm pretty sure Dave Grimmer at Pygmy said it was 23". The Tern 14 cockpit is about 1" narrower than the cockpit on the Tern 17.
It did have fore and aft bulkheads. The front bulkhead was within reach of my feet, but the back band could have been moved back about 1-1/2" to 2" to allow for a pddler with longer legs, or the bulkhead could be installed further forward.
