: I used powdered graphite/epoxy on the bottom of my canoe, after a year my observations are, it looks poretty good, (my opinion), it is fairly abrasion resistant, slicker than epoxy alone when i run the boat up on sand or gravel, it really wants to run when you apply it, and I don't think that it makes the boat any faster. The next boat will be a kayak for Jayne, (S&G) and I dont think that I'll do the graphite thing again, at least not on Jaynes boat or the canoe I'll be building for myself. I'm thinkin that a couple extra coats of epoxy on the bottom will suffice.
