: I've just taken my Great Auk out for its first paddle. It worked great in
: flat still water. However, in choppy water with a stiff breeze it pulled
: to the left fairly strongly.
I have the sense that my Great Auk pulls to the left also. But not under all conditions. It doesn't make any sense that it should as it seems very symetrical. It definately weather cocks but I carry a solid paddle float behind me and that contributes most of the weather cocking. I have a rudder and all I need to do is put it in the water - not use it to steer - and the left turning tendency goes away. If it is my paddling then I would think it would be more noticable on calm water so I am stumped. I wish you luck in figurung it out.
