Like Greg said, I built one for my last kayak. The first and last time I had the boat in the water was at the Newfound Rendezvous, so I haven't had much quality time with the boat to test the skeg. It did seem to work as expected that one time. The boat's not registered yet, and I don't wish to have it confiscated by the ODNR. (Don't get me started on Ohio bureaucracy).
