Ross, Do you think a skeg needs to be as large a square areaas yours appears to be? (assumes 3/4 inch strips) I'm starting one for my next kayak and probaly was about 1/2 that area. Now I'm wondering if I'm large enough.

: expected that one time. The boat's not registered yet, and I don't wish to
: have it confiscated by the ODNR. (Don't get me started on Ohio
: bureaucracy).
