: Ed, It seems almost impossible that you have pin holes at your stitching
: holes with all the layers of glass and epoxy on both sides. Are you just
: seeing light thru the wire holes or have you tested these "pin
: holes" with water?
: If they are really pin holes, maybe you can mix some cabosil thickened epoxy
: and work in into the holes on the inside. You can use a brush on a stick
: where you cant reach. You could also add a layer of light tape or bias
: glass over the holes (inside).

Hi Larry and Ed. Another idea for the fix. Since filling the holes won't work by just painting over with epoxy ( as is the general rule for any type hole or indention ) how about feeding the epoxy down into the hole with a syringe?

As for a cause: ?? But, did you have the wires in while you taped over the fillets and when sanding, could you have cut through to a wire? If so, then all coats of filler after that would generally just build up around the rim of the hole, leaving it open. Same on the outside, when you covered the tape on the seam, the wetout could have run down into the holes or built up around the rim as well and all subsequint coats would possibly follow suit. ?? Whatever air that is trapped in the hole would want to bleed up through the resin, and might be leaving the hole. ?? Just a guess.
