Everyone should visit George's web site. I have done so, and I ALWAYS read his posts. For my part, they are a source of great enjoyment on the web. Just remember, anyone can be an author on the web, (or an engineer, or a CPA, or a physicist); there are no editorial controls.

I have archived some of George's more memorable statements over the past six months or so. This seems like a good time to release them (even the spelling is George's):

"Either purchase or buy good bead and cove strips."

"If you don't know the suitability of Balsa wood, you lack the expertice and the skill to build the "very lightest kayak."

"How light of a boat can you paddle?"

"Many people could tell you about the physical properties of your wood. They would be wrong."
