Hi Dave

These instant galvanizers don't work well at all. They have very poor adhesion and were actually designed to go between panels that are welded together. The heat of the welding process is what gives them good adhesion.

Galvanizing is a heated process and cold galvanizing has limited use.

If you want to protect a part from corrosion, use a good epoxy primer. You will need to metal etch it and prime it with 2-3 coats to get the required built and then you can paint it with any type of paint you wish. It will not corrode unless the primer is worn away.
