I found an outlet for Hemp Canvas in San Francisco. They sell 11 oz 59 in wide for $ 9.50 a meter. That works out to $ 8.69 a yard +S&H.

I am probably going to skip going to with cotton canvas this time around. What I understand though is that the hemp canvas is supposed to be very durable. Then again, if I believe everything I’ve read on the internet, hemp poses itself as the miracle fiber from on high (no pun intended)
