: I wanted to let you know that, courtesy of Dave in this thread, I was able to
: sit in an Osprey Std. It works, but is snug, and I think I am definitely a
: candidate for the GE HI. I was very anxiously awaiting your launch, sorry
: about your end pour troubles. I will be looking forward to seeing how the
: GE Hi works out for paddling.
Hi, Rod --
I was hoping that you'd get a chance to sit one. I'm planning on launching this Saturday, now that I'm having to fix the end pours. I'll try to get you a report on knuckle-rapping as soon as I can. What is your stroke like? High-angle or low? What length of paddle do you use? I'll try to take these into account, or even use a paddle of similar length to yours. My normal style is a fairly low angle, using either a Greenland paddle or a WindSwift (like a Werner Little Dipper, a narrow bladed modern paddle), but my wife and I have several paddles ranging from 220-230cm length.
Talk to you soon!
Regards,
Bill Graham
