Hey Larry,

Ah, er, ahem no of course not! I love my euro style high tech paddle that I paid $300 for, How could I even consider switching to a 1"x4" that cost $12 and took two hours to make, That would just be wrong. It could set paddling back 1,000 years! :-)

Everything old is new again.....
