Actually George's Positions, as strange and/or disagreeable as they sometimes seem, do tend to foster interesting and lively debate. A lot of threads especially some on adequate lay-ups would have petered out if George didn't do his thing and stir up a hornets nest. I've also heard of instances where he has gone out of his way to be helpful, tho he keeps these quiet as they may ruin his image.
