Hi folks,

Im looking to make the hatches on my yak flush like the ones on Nicks Exp single on the cover [and interior] of his book. I like the look of the bungees crossed across the face of the hatch. Stare as I might tho at the detail photo on the hatches chapter [section?] I cant figure out how in heck a hatch like that would be removed!!!

I really looked at that photo last nite and I cant see how the bungees going thru the loop holes could possibly free up the cord to remove the hatch... or more over load gear.

I know this is strictly my misunderstanding because on another page Nick has a pic of the hatch hanging open with the bungees in a now relaxed tension. For all my effort I dont see how this is achieved with anything but bungee "hooks" as opposed to loop guides.

Can someone enlighten me here please?

Beyond that, Im hell bent on this kind of hatch.
