I’m covering the kayak with #10 Duck canvas. I got my hemp canvas swatch in the mail and am waiting to compare to the cotton duck canvas I ordered for this kayak. I think the hemp has a looser weave.

I still haven’t decided how to finish the canvas yet. Maybe a boiled linseed oil concoction. I have received a lot of emails recommending Snow Roof for the underside. I still have some time before I make such a decision.
