I can see what you are talking about now. Hopefully mine will hold. I don't expect to try rolling this boat soon (not intentionally anyway ). Sounds like you are pushing them to the limits. I had also considered Mike's option of a fixed brace, but given my 6'5" length vs just about anyone else who might want to use the boat, I wanted it to be adjustable. I also wanted to try it out for furture strip builts. Thanks for your input. I'll let you know how they work. I finally got all the rest pieces glued up last night and will give it a dry run this weekend.
