You can try the Aircraft Spruce website. They sell S Glass, 5.8 oz by 60" for 13.95/lineal yard. The origonal S2 glass was one of the strongest fibers available (stronger than carbon fiber) but only somewhat stiffer than E Glass. the stuff they sell now is different, but I don't know by how much.
