I use a combination of "C" clamps and clamps made from PVC pipe sawed and split on the bandsaw. Probably 50 clamps in all are used to hold the shearclamps for gluing. I have found that if I use only PVC and no C clamps the pieces can creep. Be sure that you get a thin glue line that is uniform. If there is a space, put a clamp there.
