In Response To: new kayak run over by car (Mike Hanks)
Be sure to remind her to call her insurance agents (homeowners and auto) and inquire about making a claim. The boat may be considered a total loss despite your ability to repair it. Anyone out there in insurance land know about this kind of claim?
Just a thought. At the very least, she should be able to count the cost of repairs against her deductible and/or get materials paid for, I'd think...
