Theo, if you haven't found it in two years I'm not sure it exists, but this coming from a guy that took months to pick the right tire for a VW vanagon. I've been using 3/4"x1"x4" mahagony rounded over. How about similar dimensions but made out of the same laminated wood as the kayak?
