In Response To: fairing board question (Chris Menard)

Hi Chris,
I'm not sure if it should be stiff or flexible, but I use the stiff one on the flat ares of the bottom and have used the flexible one in the chine area of the boat. I did my first two boats with the flexible one and had good results. I guess if I were to make a choice I would go stiff. My plan when I get a chance is to take an old blade for the Stanley shure form I recently purchased and screw it to the back of the fairing board. That way I can use the nice handle from the sure form.
