That is an interesting idea, it might save some time in certain areas of the boat. I am hand beveling all of my strips for the Guillemot 17, and have found that the degree of bevel can vary dramatically from one end of the strip to the other. I bevel a short section and test fit it on the boat to see what the angle should be at the next form. It sounds pretty tedious but really goes faster than I expected. You may want to cut a small pile of several angles but leave most square until you try it out.
