John,
I've never pre beveled strips on a table saw but I have "gang" sawn them. I bought a couple thin kerf 7 1/4" blades and made a plastic spacer to set them apart "x" distance. This allows you to cut two strips at once, just make sure the distance between the rip fence is exactly the same as the dist. between the blades. Use a couple "feather boards" to hold everything against the table/fence and have a helper to assist on the out feed side. My dad and I cut over 1000 sq ft of Western Red Cedar for a 31' trimaran project in a few hours.

: I used the BEARBOAT free software to design my kayak. This allowed me to
: print out 1/4 in. scale cross sections which I slid on a wire, to look for
: any flaws ahead of time. The software didn't produce a bow and stern
: section, so I printed out a 10" long side view of the kayak and took
: a close up picture of the bow and stern and blew it up to full size on the
: computer for full size pattern sections. They worked out perfect. I am
: ready to glue all of the full sections onto 1/2 in. Flake board, that I
: have just letting around. Is that OK?
: I have some tools that I haven't used in years and aren't in the best of
: shape. I know I will need my 10" Sears table saw. I have a 12"
: Delta table disc sander but the motor is burned out. Is it worth fixing
: for this project? I have a belt sander: can it be used or is it just too
: aggressive?
: Cutting strips? Has anyone cut batches of strips with on their table saw,
: with perhaps 2 degree edges, 4 degree edges, etc., so you can just reach
: for the appropaiate strip pile and have very little touch up for a fit?
: Thanks,
: John
