Hi all:
I just wet out the hull of my Great Auk with epoxy, and due to time constraints (I'm in my 4th year of medical school, and they want me to be in the hosptial a LOT, not home working on my kayak) it will harden completely before I get a chance to glass it. That's OK with me, because I kind of wanted to sand it a little anyway. The question is, how much should I sand it? Should I just rough it up a bit all over? What grit should I use? Is my random orbital sander too much power for this? Nick's book wasn't exactly clear on this part, because it advocates skipping this step, or applying the glass after a shorter duration before any amine blush forms, etc...
Thanks in advance,
-Charlie
