Hi Al, Neither one. Consider the Arctic Tern 14. If you are concerned with paddling in high winds then you need to be sunk in the water, in other words you want a boat that doesn't have lots of reserve capacity since it is that reserve capacity that you are presently fighting when the wind picks up. The Coho is a marvelous boat if you're around 200 or carry lots of stuff. The Osprey/pygmy standard is a little less volume but not by much and it tracks quite well. I built a Coho for a friend with your dimensions and it is just too big unloaded, same with your Tern. I knew a 220lb guy that had a Pygmy standard and he was just right for all conditions. I weigh 180 and paddled the 14,even though I'm at the very top weight for it I think you would find it perfect.
