Scaling works well to help size a boat to your body weight and height. you can easily scale the forms by xeroxing them and or change the length of the boat by changing the form spacing. calculate the expected displacement or carrying capacity based on length scale x width scale x hight scale x origional dispacement or capacity.

If you match your new boat to your spacific weight, you will be happier than just trying to fit any-old-boat. Many designers offer several sizes of each model to fit varying size paddlers (often with different model names)
