What you've done will be just fine. For my WLII, I lofted the forms from the book to some graph paper, and then transferred the outline to wood - lots of room for mistakes here and there, but everything worked out. Once you've setup the forms on the strongback, you'll probably have to play around with the forms anyway. Do whatever it takes to make a fair curve with some test strips. I had to sand down the center form a bit. Presumably, the plans you started with are more accurate, so you may have better luck.

Good luck,

Ross

: I'm looking at my plans for a WeeLassie II and wondering what is the best way
: to transfer them to wood. That is, to copy them to the stations. I used
: very light paper to trace the bow station and I know I'm getting a little
: "play". I used a square to keep things, well square. Then I
: glued the tracing to poster board. I used the factory corners and a
: square. Is this good enought? I know there is some variance in it. Am I
: being to anal? This ain't rocket science. But each tranfer there is bound
: to be some "play". Will this add up in the end?
