fill coats

I put a full layer of glass on the hull of my Great Auk and followed it right away with a second layer on the bottom this weekend. When the temps dropped into the 30s I was only able to keep the temperature inside my shed around 50 and I stopped working. I still have to apply more glass on the stem and stern.and a few fill coats.

I would like advice about whether I should wait for things to harden up and sand out the little spikes and wrinkles before I continue or, go ahead and squeege a few fill coats and magnify the bumps, lumps, drips and snags.
Two days after I started, most of the tackiness is gone even though the temperature barely got into the 40s. Go Raka. I used the no-blush so shouldn't have to worry about that issue.
