: Got a question: The end of the stern deck looks like it curves down or just
: levels out slightly. Any particular reason for that, or am I jsut seeing
: things? Thanks! -tim

The stern deck actually turns up in a sweep that is formed by springing the gunwales outward and then angling them about 20 degrees further out at the top than at the bottom. This gives the deck an arc that goes from one end of the boat to the other. The decks are flat except from the thigh brace beam to the foot brace beam. The boat came out 19 ft 1 in long by 19.5 in beam. The depth behind the seat is 8 inches and the front of the cockpit is 13 inches. The hull is with mortise joints, no lashing. The skin is sewed with polyester sail twine. The cockpit coaming is lashed to the skin with artificial sineu.
