: OK, I don't have a life, I pulled the picture off, and looked at it in an

I think what Rehd thought was the girl's hair is the back of a child's Type II preserver. But, there are absolutely no reflections on the lake from the hills in the background. Even with pretty choppy water, there should be some shading there--look how much reflection there is of the kayak.
And I agree--there's not nearly enough wake behind the kayak. Even going slowly, a kayak will produce small ripples. The guy actually looks like he's standing dead in the water--there is no water movement at all at the bow.
I can also tell that it was a Friday afternoon, and the water temperature was 67*. Just kidding!
