Shouldn't have substituted a question mark for the ending. So returning to the original, since Jayne is more demonstrative than the useless Haddie boy, and Had had already been violated by Charlie's henchmen, the last phrase can be the same statement without the question mark.
Charlie, where Jane had had Had, had had Had had; had Had had had no effect.
(But I wonder . . . )
