I have made my own strips for two different boats using the methods that Ross mentioned. I used the table saw the first time. Next time I used the bandsaw. On both the finger boards were the key. If you get a slight wave in the cut and don't catch it, it will make a low spot in the boat which you will have to sand down to or build up from.

Could use a planer to finish them all to size if you have one, but good setup with the tablesaw will work! Like Ross says, run test strips to get the setup right.
